  Great Italian joint on Balboa peninsula, a few blocks off the beach. Excellent service from very nice and friendly waitresses. Food is pretty darn good all around. Definitely on my list of places to return visit when I'm in the area. Environment is lively and casual. There's a small parking lot out back but also plenty of street parking if you arrive later in the evening, after work hours.

  A 40 minute wait but well worth it. While waiting they brought garlic bread out every ten or so minutes so it passed quickly. Once seated we were immediately greeted by our waitress who was incredibly friendly. She gave great recommendations for food and always made sure we had full glasses of water and more garlic bread. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The place was still packed at closing so make sure you plan ahead for a wait. Definitely will visit again if in the area.
