  Do NOT use Newport Harbor Animal Hospital on Mesa Dr. Took my cat there for cat fight injuries, he was going to be sedated so they could clean the wound. When I picked him up they had cut all his nails as short as possible! Leaving my outside cat unable to defend himself! When I called and asked why they cut his nails, they said “he scratched our employee”. Basically, they cut his nails off in retaliation for being scratched, leaving an outside cat totally defenseless is not the act of a caring veterinarian. I’m wondering if they get bitten by a dog, do they pull its teeth? I have asked both the owners, doctors, for an explanation of the events, but apparently an 18 year customer means nothing to them. Stay away!! Very uncaring and way expensive!!

  I have been a pet owner for over 30 years...and experienced all types of Veterinarians....but none as compassionate as Dr. G. He just met our four dogs..at a meet and greet in his office...and the dogs had run of the showroom. The staff had fun and so did Dr. G. Now after two have had to have surgery....I know my animals are in the best of hands...and what a skilled Vet Dr. G. is... His clinic is state of the art!
